How to order

Folens Secondary resources are part of Oxford University Press.

Selecting items

There are three ways of selecting items to add to your shopping basket:

1. Searching for a product

Use the search facility in the top-right corner of the page to find a product, add a quantity in the Quantity box and then click ‘Add to basket’.

2. Browsing by series page

Use the Primary or Secondary subject links in the left-hand menu to find the series you are interested in. Click ‘View all titles’ to list all of the titles in the series. Enter the quantities of the products you would like to order and click ‘Add to basket’.

3. Using Fast Shop

If you know the IBSNs of the items you would like to purchase, we’d recommend that you use the Fast Shop facility. You’ll find the Fast Shop link at the top of every page. On the Fast Shop page, enter the ISBN number and quantity of each item required, then click ‘Add to basket’. You can also print or email your Fast Shop list.

When you have all the items you require, click 'My basket' at the top of the page.

Shopping basket

Click the ‘My basket’ link at the top of any page to view the current contents of your shopping basket.

You can change the quantity of any item and click ‘Recalculate now’ to update your basket.

Tick the Remove checkbox beside any items you wish to remove from your basket and click ‘Recalculate now’ to update your basket.

Click 'Empty basket' at any point to clear your list of titles.

You can also print or email the contents of your shopping basket by clicking the relevant buttons.

When you are happy that your order is complete, click ‘Proceed to checkout’ to proceed to the payment and confirmation pages.

You can return to the basket page if you’d like to change your order before inputting your payment details.



Placing an order with Folens constitutes agreement to the following terms and conditions:

UK School Credit Account

Orders

If you are ordering on behalf of a School and on credit, your order will be delivered to your school’s address. Most UK schools already have a credit account with Folens.

Your goods will be dispatched with an invoice.

Credit period

Credit period is 30 days.

Delivery

Orders are processed and shipped within 72 hours of receipt.

Damages / incomplete orders must be notified within 14 days of invoice date.

All delivery times are estimates only and, while we will endeavour to avoid delay, we shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from delay in delivery.

P&P

£3.95 per order.

Evaluation

Teachers may order an evaluation copy of a product on behalf of their school. Evaluation copies will only be sent to the school address and may only be used for evaluation purposes. You may not copy or reproduce any part of an evaluation copy. All rights in the evaluation copy are reserved by us.

If the evaluation copy is unsuitable it must be returned within 28 days of invoice. Simply contact Customer Services and we will facilitate the return. In the event that it is not returned within 28 days, your school account will be charged the full price of the product.

To be eligible to order an evaluation copy your school must be a recognised UK school (which shall be determined by us at our absolute discretion) and your school must hold a credit account with Folens.

We reserve the right to refuse an evaluation copy at our sole discretion.

Guarantee and returns

If you are not satisfied with any of our products, they may be returned for a full product credit within 30 days from the date of invoice, providing they are in a resaleable condition.

Private Individual (UK)

Orders

Please provide payment by credit or debit card at time of ordering. Your goods will be dispatched with a receipt.

Delivery

Orders are processed and shipped within 72 hours of receipt of payment.

Damages / incomplete orders must be notified within 14 days of invoice date.

All delivery times are estimates only and, while we will endeavour to avoid delay, we shall not be liable to you for any loss or damage arising from delay in delivery.

Evaluation

Only available to UK school accounts.

Guarantee and returns

If you are not satisfied with any of our products, they may be returned for a full product refund within 30 days from the date of purchase, providing they are in a resaleable condition. Returns must be authorised by Folens Customer Services and accompanied by a copy of the invoice.

UK Trade Credit Account

Folens is pleased to accept new UK re-seller accounts. Our terms of business are: Opening a Credit Account

We do not offer credit on the first order – this must be pre-paid. We expect re-sellers to buy a minimum of £1,000 (invoice value) of products per year. We review accounts annually in January. Re-sellers not meeting this minimum annual purchase will be asked to either trade on a payment with order basis, or to order via the wholesaler, Gardeners.

Carriage on orders over £25 is free. For orders less than £25, carriage will be charged at £4.95.

Guarantee and returns

If you or your customers are not satisfied with any of our products, they may be returned for a full credit within 30 days of purchase, providing they are in a resaleable condition. Returns must be pre-authorised by Folens Customer Services and accompanied by a copy of the invoice. Return carriage is your responsibility.

Goods returned without a copy of the invoice will have the invoice discount adjusted by 15%.

After 6 months from the date of invoice, no returns can be accepted.

International Schools and Individuals

Orders

Delivery time is dependent upon destination. All delivery times are estimates only and, while we will endeavour to avoid delay, we shall not be liable to you for any loss or damage arising from delay in delivery.

P&P

For EC countries the charge will be £10 or 20% of order value, whichever is the greater.

All other European countries the charge will be £20 or 20% of order value, whichever is the greater.

For the Rest of the World the charge will be £25 or 20% of order value, whichever is the greater.]

Evaluation

Only available to UK school accounts.

Returns

No returns will be accepted unless the goods are faulty.
